Uncle Jeff's wedding

So Mike's brother Jeff got married last Friday in Omaha at the Winter Quarters temple.  We decided to do a session before the wedding which meant leaving at 5:30.

We decided to wake Mason up right before we left, so after the car was all loaded, I got him up and carried him out still in his pj's.

I had hoped he would go back to sleep, but he decided it was an adventure! Uncle Jeremy was there and everything!

We stopped on the way and got him dressed.  I didn't get a picture of it, but something funny happened at the rest stop.  After he was dressed, I got him in the car, and went to move the cooler into the trunk because one of Mason's aunties had decided to switch cars.  I gave a banana to Uncle Jeremy to give to Mason, and he didn't think to peel it.  When next I looked, Mason had taken a big old bite out of the bottom. Peel and all. I laughed so hard I had trouble breathing.

When we got to Omaha, his aunties took him to the zoo while we were in the temple. They took lots of pictures of the animals.

They met us back at the temple after the wedding. It was cold, but Mason was wiggly.

Here are Jeff and his wife, Mason's new auntie Alexis!
This is the only photo with them and Mason that I have.
After the pictures, we went to a Mexican restaurant.  Mason was not sure about the food, but had fun with his cars.

Then he played climb on Mommy.

In case you can't tell, I'm starting to show.

He fell asleep in the car after lunch, and then rode in the back with Mommy all the way home.

Fashion show!

Auntie Amber over at the Paisley Cupcake, sent Mason this for Christmas, and I finally got around to taking pictures.  Enjoy the fashion show!

Look at that cute little foot!  I thought barefoot was the appropriate way to go.

 Mom, this is getting boring.

 I love you!

Snow Day!

It snowed last night!  Not a blizzard or anything, but several inches, the first real snow fall we've had this winter.  They closed schools and everything.  Actually, it doesn't take much to close school here, not compared to Idaho and Utah anyway.  So we decided to take Mason out in it.

It's the first time he's worn this outfit.  And I realized I didn't have any boots for him, so I put two pairs of socks on him and a pair of shoes that are a bit large.
Dad had fun taking funny pictures of Mason in his oh-so-comfortable (haha!) snow suit.
Mason was a bit cautious when we went outside.  He did step in the snow for a mintue, but then he freaked out and stuck to the sidewalk for the first part.
Daddy decided it would be a good idea to do a snow angel.  Mason didn't like that idea.
So Daddy showed him the fun of snow angels.
Mason took a few steps into the snow to see what his daddy was doing.
Giant snow balls!
Uncle Jeremy came out too, making piles of snow and throwing snow balls at Mason.
Then Mason finally overcame his concern about the snow, and waded right in.

And as a reward, Daddy and Uncle Jeremy buried him in the snow.  Woo-hoo!

Snow is fun!
